The Committee in the wild

The Committee didn’t so much "spark to life" as "slowly, yet firmly, decide to exist." A teeming collective of the most earnest plankton from the tide pool, they first huddled into a tiny trenchcoat shape to appear more substantial, hoping to be taken seriously by the busy Squidgle and the grumpy Pinchik. They drift near the reef's calmer spots, holding very, very long internal debates about the best currents for prime algae snacks or whether to wave politely at Starbles.
